Chosen Events!

My chosen Events are the Katy Perry Tour and The Brit Awards.





It’s all about E-Marketing
E-Marketing is the ‘application of marketing principles and techniques via electronic media and more specifically over the internet’ (Alan, 2010). E-Marketing is different methods of promotion through the internet including websites, banner ads, social networking and direct emails. My chosen events will mostly use this method of marketing. When blogging i will focus on the ways both events use Emarketing they key promotion tool.
E-Marketing enables organisations to create strong relationships with their consumers. E-marketing focuses on all internet uses… so who actually uses the internet?

Statistics
·         Just under 50 million people have the internet in the UK (2008)

·         60% of adults access Internet every day (2010)
·         Statistics show that those who spend the most time using the internet are those within the AB social class
Using the internet as a marketing tool is a relatively inexpensive medium for reaching a huge target audience; it has been one of the major factors for the increase in events.
